The raw material polyethylene for the infuser syringe is abbreviated as PE, which is a kind of thermoplastic resin obtained by polymerizing ethylene. In industry, it also includes copolymers of ethylene and a small amount of α-olefins. Polyethylene is odorless, non-toxic, feels like wax, has excellent low temperature resistance (minimum operating temperature can reach -100 ~ -70 °C), good chemical stability, can withstand most acids and alkalis (not resistant to oxidation Nature acid). It is insoluble in common solvents at room temperature, has low water absorption, and has excellent electrical insulation.
The raw material polyethylene of the veterinary syringe has good chemical stability. It is resistant to dilute nitric acid, dilute sulfuric acid and any concentration of hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, formic acid, acetic acid, ammonia, amines, hydrogen peroxide, sodium hydroxide, hydrogen at room temperature Potassium oxide and other solutions. However, it is not resistant to strong oxidation, such as fuming sulfuric acid, concentrated nitric acid, chromic acid and sulfuric acid. At room temperature, the above-mentioned solvents will have a slow eroding effect on polyethylene, while at 90-100°C, concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid will quickly attack the polyethylene, causing it to be destroyed or decomposed.
Under the action of the atmosphere, sunlight and oxygen, polyethylene will age, change color, crack, become brittle or pulverized, and lose its mechanical properties. At the molding processing temperature, due to oxidation, the melt will be reduced, discoloration, and streaks will occur, so attention should be paid to the molding processing and use process or material selection. It is precisely because polyethylene has the above characteristics that it is easy to process and shape.
