Silica gel desiccant is a highly active adsorption material with an open porous structure and strong adsorption. It is the only desiccant certified by the US FDA. It can be used directly in contact with food and medicine, and it is harmless to the human body after ingestion.
Molecular sieve is a synthetic desiccant with strong adsorption to water molecules. Its pore size can be controlled by different processing techniques. In addition to adsorbing water vapor, it can also adsorb other gases. In the case of high temperature above 230℃, it can still hold water molecules well.
Under normal circumstances, if the effervescent tube is not opened, the theoretical data of the internal desiccant shelf life experiment is two years. However, if the humidity in the storage environment is too high, it is easy to cause the desiccant to fail. In addition, factors such as the humidity of the product, the tightness of the package, and the dosage will affect the expiration date of the desiccant. The storage time is inversely proportional to the moisture absorption effect of the desiccant. The shorter the storage time after production, the better the moisture absorption effect, and vice versa.
