The injection molding process is a commonly used process in the production of plastic bottles, and it is also a relatively mature process. It can not only be used for bottle processing, but also the main production process for medicinal crc caps.
Pharmaceutical CRC caps are an important part of pharmaceutical packaging, and are generally processed from polypropylene or polyethylene raw materials. The production process is as follows:
1. Plasticizing: heating and melting granular plastic in the barrel to form a viscous fluid solution;
2. Injection mold filling: The screw advances quickly, and the plastic melt is injected into the mold cavity until it fills the mold cavity;
3. Maintaining pressure and shrinking: the solution shrinks due to cooling, but because the screw process continues to move forward slowly, the solution in the barrel continues to be injected into the cavity to supplement the need for shrinkage;
4. Cooling after the gate is frozen: the plastic at the junction is completely frozen until the product is ejected from the cavity. The plastic in the cavity still has changes in temperature, pressure, and volume during this stage. When the medicinal CRC cap is demolded, the pressure in the mold cavity is not necessarily equal to the external pressure, and the difference between the pressure in the cavity and the external pressure is the residual pressure. When the residual pressure is positive, demolding is more difficult, and the product is easily scratched or broken. When it is a negative value, dents appear on the surface of the product or vacuum bubbles inside the product.
After the above forming process, the medicinal cap needs to be recooled and sterilized. After standing at room temperature for 24 hours, the internal stress can be eliminated and the performance of the product can be improved.
