The density of the pharmaceutical packaging material is generally determined by the dipping method, that is, the density is measured according to buoyancy.
The impregnation method refers to the amount of buoyancy received by the sample in the immersion liquid at a predetermined temperature, which is equal to the product of the volume of the immersion liquid discharged from the sample and the density of the immersion liquid. The buoyancy can be determined by measuring the mass of the sample and the quality of the sample in the immersion liquid. This method is suitable for the density determination of plastic containers (materials) other than foam, and can be used for qualitative identification of materials.
